RIC in Training

We welcome the process of becoming Reconciling In Christ or RIC! What does it mean to be an RIC?
From the Reconciling Works website: The purpose of the Reconciling in Christ (RIC) Program is to ensure the welcome, inclusion, celebration, and advocacy for people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions; work for racial equity and commit to anti-racist work and support the national program.
Our church is on a journey of true resolution to include and hold space for our siblings that are part of the LGBTQIA+ or BIPOC communities.
The RIC Core Team holds a book club every season (Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter) to read books related to learning and growing on this topic. If you are interested in the book club, please see our bulletin board in the narthex, or email Rachel at ric@unitymilwaukee.org for more information.
