Unity integrates all people in the church across ages and stages of life to mentor one another in the life of discipleship. After researching how people learn, grow, develop, and thrive, we create opportunities for people to interact, relate, and worship in creative and more memorable ways.
We go through our lives segregated by age and lifestyle, whether that is going to separate-age classrooms, working along side similar-aged professionals, or even hanging out with other singles or married couples. This separation is often continued during church...but not at Unity.
Cross+Generational ministries seek to counter that by fostering an environment where all people are engaging each other. It is through laughing, listening, teaching, and learning along side one another that we can all see how God is active in the world, do what God calls us for, invite others to join us in living like Christ, and grow together in our faith in the path the Lord has intended for us.
One approach to our Cross+Generational ministries is "Connecting the Word," which is a time following Sunday worship to go over the weekly scripture message and grow in understanding and community across the generations. Click here to see the group's Facebook page!
On Sundays, Unity has a program called Kids' Time, which allows our children to understand Jesus' message from the sermon in a way that they can comprehend. If you are interested in having your child in our Kids' Time program, or want to volunteer to help, go to our Forms page!
